Having therefore such stillness
You succumb to solitude
A solitude so intense
You can hear it budge
You quell what is left
Of the bustle in your pride
You fret swiftly then rapidly
Until a deafening hush
Necessitates your exit from your past
You and I
We can row toward
Where the sparkling rays
Send blushing ripples
Together let us disturb
The calmness of these waters
Extricate deep, deep aches
Make waves, paddle forward
Dare, remain strong, hold tight
Till it pains no more
Until the surging waves
Begin bubbling with hope

wow!
hi! i have to say this is the best of all the headers you made. parang jose rizal ang dating huh! and the waves, i’ve always love that color! have a nice sunday mass tomorrow!
i love these lines…
Extricate deep, deep aches
Make waves, paddle forward
Dare, remain strong, hold tight
Till it pains no more
the faith and the hope you cling to, i admire…
this almost made me cry. i felt like i wrote this myself! (hehehe. ambisyosa si inday.) renee’s famous line in jerry maguire is “you got me at hello” but with this poem “you got me at SOLITUDE”. corny sa? but true. words like solitudine can stir something in me i can’t explain. as i have told you, i have a love-hate relationship with this word.
MAGNIFICO!!!! with up-to-date podcasting, it is more than what I could ask for

…i hope next time i log in, you have something to make me laugh…he!he!he!
Oh dear! It makes me teary-eyed. It reminds me of someone who I can’t “disturb the calm waters” with – someone who weaves words like they’re one mysterious but beautiful puzzle, someone who has to surge the waves of serving Him.
“A solitude so intense, the bustle in your pride, Make waves, Till it pains no more”
Father, I’m wondering what caused you to write the poem. Words are vehicles of thoughts.
