One of the things that keeps me busy these days is the video documentary I am doing for my congregation, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC). This year we are celebrating the centenary of the MSC presence in the Philippines. We have decided to make a docu to show the important highlights of the history of the MSC in the Philippines and the development of its mission in the country. This video will also feature the joys and challenges of being an MSC. The video intends to inform the general public about the mission of the MSC, its various ministries and the experiences of its members in doing these ministries.
My hope is that the video will inspire and encourage more vocations to join the congregation and share in its missionary works. The working title of the docu is “To Be God’s Heart on Earth”.
Please know that the four clips below have no subtitles yet, so you need your Tagalog and Cebuano to fully understand the words. The final cut of the documentary video will be available in different languages.

Hello Fr. Stephen, you made me cry today. These videos trully made my eyes cloudy with tears… specially the first one. As i was staring at the monitor and listening to their statements, my heart ached seeing them serve wholeheartedly despite the situation. I thank thee and all the MSC priests and laymen who, inspite of all the odds, you are still with us! And very special CONGRATULATIONS to you! You deserve something BIG!
I salute to all the MSC priests assigned there! All the hardship they have been to but still they are inspired to do their obligations to mankind… to serve & spread love!
Congratulations to all of them! Of course, to you who made this video possible. It was a nice scenery… & love to see the mountains… nice view.
You have made a great Fr. Stephen. Please continue your good works.
