Online social networks such as Facebook, Friendster, Flickr, Imeem and YouTube are giving rise to a hyper-connected generation. Social networking gives people new ways to connect, collaborate, and build community. This talk will focus on how social networking can be used by educators and catechists.

Today’s young generation spend most of their time online. While the internet has its advantages, there are also real dangers lurking online. HEARTSCAPE: FAITH AND SPIRITUALITY THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY
Designed for people wishing to explore faith and spirituality through photography, this recollection is a journey of commitment, discovery and enrichment. Our time will be divided between immersing ourselves in the art of photography, engaging in meditative silence, as well as groupsharing our reflections. During the recollection, participants will learn the basics of photography in order for them to create evocative and meaningful images.
