This afternoon, Sun.Star Blog Chronicles was launched at the Atrium in SM City Cebu. My podcast was played during the one-hour event (Click here to listen).
Sun.Star is the most widely-read newspaper in the Visayas and its Blog Chronicles is exclusively devoted to the online blogging community. I have been blogging for the Chronicles since August this year.
Owing to the fact the SM City Cebu is the most popular shopping mall in that corner of the world, many people were present during the blog launching. My friend, who attended the said event, phoned me while my podcast was being played through the loudspeakers. I could not help but smile as she articulately described to me the reaction of the listeners, and it seemed that there were some who were pleasantly surprised to know that a Catholic priest embraced podcasting and blogging as ministry tools – as means to accompany and guide people in their search for God and meaning in life.
