Aming Ama, ikaw ay mahabagin, matapat at mapagmahal. Nagsusumamo kami na palakasin ang aming pananampalataya at aming pagmamahal sa Iyo upang magamit namin ang blogging bilang kasangkapan na maisakatuparan ang Iyong mga dakilang layunin. Nawa’y maging bloggers kami ng katotohanan at tagapagtaguyod ng kapayapaan.
Tulungan mo kami na maging matatag sa tungkuling Kristiyano, upang ang aming mga bisita’y makita ang aming mga blog na pinagmumulan ng lakas ng loob at inspirasyon. Bigyan mo kami ng lakas upang mapalaganap ang Iyong mga salita, na maging bahagi kami sa pagbuwag ng balakid ng hidwaan sa mundo at gamitin ang aming mga blog upang pagtibayin ang aming pagkakaibigan, pagkakaisa at pagmamahalan.
Gawin mong maamo at mapagkumbaba ang aming mga puso upang pakitunguhan ang aming mga mambabasa bilang kaibigan at hindi bilang pandagdag bilang lang, nawa’y aming madalas na pagsikapan na baguhin muna ang aming mga sarili bago ang aming site templates , na madalas kaming mag-ukol ng panahon na maibsan ang pighati ng aming kasambahay kaysa sumagot sa mga punang iniwan ng mga di kilalang tao sa aming blog, na mas madalas kaming makihalubilo sa aming mga kapitbahay kaysa sa pakikipag-chat sa aming mga blogrolled friends, na kami’y maging maalalahanin sa pagtulong sa mga kapus-palad kaysa sa bilang ng suskritor sa aming RSS feeds.
Iadya mo kami Ama , mula sa mga spams at viruses mula sa kapalaluan at kasakiman, at mula sa tukso ng pag-replika ng mga imahe nang walang pahintulot at pagkopya ng mga ideya na di kinikilala ang orihinal na sumulat.
Nawa’y lagi kaming magkaisa bilang mga bloggers at magkakaibigan na sama-samang gumagawa sa Inyong ngalan. Nawa’y mapalapit kami sa Iyo sa pamamagitan ng aming mga blog.
Hinihiling namin ang lahat ng ito sa pamamagitan ni Kristo na aming Panginoon.

wow, that is really neat. Thanks for including the link that explains the translation. I’ve often wished my command of Tagalog was better … as it is, at this point, I can only understand it, and my comprehension improves when I am immersed in Tagalog (when I’m around other Filipinos, I insist they speak Tagalog around me, even if I cannot answer them back in kind).
I always enjoy the opportunity to reconnect with my “inner Filipino” in whatever way I can. Thanks for posting this …

Just to let you know that we finished the translation of this prayer in Spanish. It is entitled:”Oración del blogger”

Right now it is being translated in Ilocano and Bicolano. Hopefully, this summer I could collect the different translations in different Philippine languages. I am writing a paper in translation techniques and stylistics. I’ll send you a copy of this study.
