Nueva Ecija Trip

I was in Nueva Ecija two weeks ago to shoot a video documentary for the Diocese of San Jose. I was able to visit all the towns and parishes under the jurisdiction of the Diocese. I got to meet a lot of wonderful people and see equally wonderful sights.

Here are four of the more than four hundred photos I took while I was there.

Thats Martin Portin of Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija. He is a farmer and barrio Lay Minister. One of his main functions is to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and distribute communion in the barrios. He said that distributing consecrated Hosts is like sowing seeds in his farm - it helps others grow and mature.

I wonder why you chose these 4 pictures out of the 400 as you say, but lemme guess… a farmer who sows the seeds of faith, wrapped in this canopy with complete trust in God will always live his life in a sanctuary of serene beauty. There is a farmer in each of us and every seed that I sow in my mind is a reflection of my faith, love, trust, and belief in HIM.

If only given the opportunity to travel, then this is one place i would love to go.
The place is so calm and peaceful. I guess i can relax and reflect myself the beauty of the world.
