Holy Wednesday – The Caged Jesus

Jesus is randomly portrayed as Superstar, King, Judge, Legend, Son, Punisher, Lord, Ruler, Savior… the list is virtually endless. My most favorite image is that of Jesus who identified himself with the poor, the powerless, and the oppressed. Life stories of the saints abound with testimonies about how Jesus appeared to them as a beggar, as an abused woman, as a lost child, or as a sick person in need. Today we would find Jesus where he would be most at home – with unpaid laborers in hunger strike, with battered women in their homes, with prostituted children in the streets, with migrant workers in welfare lines, or with wrongly-accused prisoners in a cage.

I wish that everyone, whoever we are, what race we belong to,what religion we believe in,whatever we have done wrong, whoever we are,we all have to visit jesus,to think about his passion and the greatest of all,his love and care for all of us.If we believe in this,we should love each other, respect each other, take care of each other.
JESUS IS THE WAY;i want to love you jesus, give us strength to carry the sufferings of life, like you suffered for us,make that our sufferings be given to you,in jesus name, amen, thanks, god bless!
