Believing that communication creates communion, a group of television and information professionals has recently launched an online multimedia service that offers news about the Catholic Church and the Pope in audio and video formats. It is called H2onews and its goal is “to respond to the need for growth in worldwide Catholic communication.”
As expected, the news service is offered free of charge to practically anyone interested. But the site’s main target partners are Catholic television networks, websites and radio stations. Another great thing about H2onews is that it is available in 8 languages – Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
You have guessed it right that the H20 of the name H2onews is the chemical formula for water. The organizers have chosen that name because H2onews is “like water for every user: refreshing information that springs from the Gospel.” To know more about H20news, please click here.
