Free Linux Ebooks

Finding this website felt like discovering a treasure field. As a linux and opensource evangelist and trainor, I have scoured the internet a zillion times to find resources for my talks and presentations. This website or that blog would give visitors a few tips and some PDFs to download. But none would give a complete array of tutorials. None… until 900i.me.uk came into the picture.

900i.me.uk gives you a hundred free resources to make your opensource-driven life easier. All the resources are neatly listed in the homepage. They are arranged in an alphabetical order. The ebooks cater to different people. For linux newbies, I recommend Easiest Linux Guide Ever, Linux for Non-Geeks, and Linux Newbie Administrator Guide. If you are Windows-only user but want to try linux, then Moving from Windows to Linux and Linux Transfer for Windows Network Administrators are for you. Of course there are also ebooks for hardcore and advanced linux users and administrators.

If you want to know the history and future of opensource your answer is just a download away in this website. If you want ebooks to guide you through your linux installation and configuration then don’t look somewhere else. Of particular interest to me is the No Starch Linux Cookbook because it provides readers easy-to-understand tips and techniques. I might print it and make copies for my friends.

I know I will be regularly visiting the website because I am sure they will offer more resources in the future.
