Download the Free Ubuntu 7.10 Desktop Course

The Ubuntu Training Team has just released the much-awaited Ubuntu 7.10 Desktop Course. The course has two versions (the instructor guide and the student guide) and contains 10 lessons which can be covered in a period of two full days. The guides are available in PDF format and they are released under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA licence that gives us freedom to copy, edit, and share. I will be using these guides in both the informal and formal trainings I facilitate on linux and opensource.

Thanks for visiting my site Fr. I’m quite surprised and happy that there’s a Catholic priest on earth that’s been using Linux and blogging about open-source software at the same time hehe.

By the way, I already answered your comment regarding the audio problem on your Macbook.

    God bless!

Thanks for your reply, Jun. I’m sure you would be more surprised to know that I am not the only priest who is into Linux. There are many priests as well as nuns who are using and promoting the use of free and opensource software (FOSS). It is because the ideals of FOSS (i.e., sharing, cooperation, etc) are so compatible with the social teachings of the Catholic church.
