Communication Foundation for Asia

I’ve just received an SMS telling me that www.cfamedia.org, a website I created and continue to maintain, has won the best website award from the Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA). The 31st awards ceremony was held this afternoon at the San Carlos Seminary Auditorium, in Guadalupe, Makati City. The goal of CMMA is “to reward, as well as to pay tribute to media products that enhance the total human development of the Filipino audience through the competent and professional use of mass media techniques.” This year’s theme is “Promoting a Culture of Respect, Dialogue and Friendship in the Digital Generation.”

Right now, I still cannot believe that the site could win three awards in a row. The first time it bagged the best website trophy was in 2007. Then it won its second last year. And now this!

A loud shout-out to the website writers, photographers, videographers, graphics artists, editors and other content creators and collaborators.
