At quarter past twelve this afternoon I officiated the christening of Christine Hazen Amigo, daughter of Edison and Dorie. It was my first time to solemnize the Sacrament of Baptism here in Rome and also my first time to preside over a liturgical celebration inside St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. Last year I baptized a friend’s child in Milan. And two Christmases ago I baptized a group of Filipinos and Dutch citizens in Hoorn, Netherlands.

naks.. in St. Peter’s Basilica?
(hahay – i thought a pen name was enough)
thanks for specifying Hoorn Father. We miss you and hope you come back again. Your a blessed priest. and whle I am typing this I am listening to you podcast about Laity’s in the church. it is inspiring when you hear stories of ordinary people serving the church for a long time. . it makes you say… go and glow for His glory . Hope, even you’ll be home soon you’ll stay connected with all your friends sepcially here in Holland and hope to constantly hear from you. Keep up and God bless you Father Bob. who’s Bob?
