Compassionate Father, you have given us Jaime Cardinal Sin, who like Jesus, has preached the Gospel with his life. You have made him a shepherd of your Church on earth, may he be among the flock of the blessed in Heaven and come to share eternal happiness with all your saints.
We also pray that his example may inspire and encourage us on to be more committed to the cause of justice and peace. With your grace, help us to live this day mindful of the needs of others and the conviction that we can make a difference in others’ lives. We ask this through the intercession of those who have died for the sake of justice and now live with you for all eternity. Amen.
